The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks to 34 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Starmount for a 1A Northwest game on Tuesday, January 28. North Stokes will confront a Rams team coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Rams record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Elkin falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Buckin' elks host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a 1A Northwest game on Tuesday, January 28.
