January 24, 2025: Oakwood, GA 30566 Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 81-21 in a league match.
With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Dragons host Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to face the Warriors in a AAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 16-5. Oconee County won 55-17 in their recent league match against East Hall (Gainesville, GA)
The Spartans now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee Bluff for a AAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 28. West Hall will face a Bears squad coming off a 78-38 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Bears record now stands at 15-6.
