January 24, 2025: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA), 42-13 in a league match.
With the victory, Sunnyside Christian advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Prescott (Prescott, WA) to face the Tigers in a 1B Southeast match on Saturday, January 25. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-8. Prescott won 24-23 in their recent league match against Touchet (Touchet, WA)
The Patriots now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yakama Nation Tribal for a 1B Southeast match on Saturday, January 25. Liberty Christian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 80-42 league win over DeSales (Walla Walla, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.
