In Friday's league test, the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), by a score of 49-43.

Next, the Broncos encounter the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) in a Diablo test, on Tuesday, January 28. Northgate will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 15-5 record after their 40-27 league win over Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA).

The Matadors (13-8) will now prepare for their test against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Falcons come into the Diablo test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, College Park was nipped by Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA), 51-29, in a league test.
