The Natchitoches Central Chiefs basketball squad (Natchitoches, LA), was crushed 49-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA)

With the victory, Parkway advances its record to 19-4 on the year. The Panthers host Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 18-6. Ouachita Parish won 54-8 in their recent league battle against Pineville (Pineville, LA)

The Chiefs now own a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Natchitoches Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 53-37 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 18-9.
