The Benton Tigers basketball squad (Benton, LA), was crushed 57-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA)

With the victory, Parkway advances its record to 24-4 on the year. The Panthers host Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) to encounter the Eagles in a 5A District 1 test on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-13. Evangel Christian Academy lost 40-10 in their recent league test against Haughton (Haughton, LA)

The Tigers (19-12) will now prepare for their test against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings come into the 5A District 1 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Airline bounced Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA), 64-36, in a non-league test.
