Indiana High School Basketball - West Central holds off Pioneer

January 24, 2025: Francesville, IN 47946

In Friday's non-league contest, the host West Central Trojans basketball team scored a close 32-30 triumph over the Pioneer Panthers.

The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN). The Eagles go into the Midwest contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian was tipped by Shenandoah (Middletown, IN), 52-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Winamac Warriors (Winamac, IN) in a Hoosier North contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Pioneer will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 13-8 record after their 54-42 league loss to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN).
