Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 47-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Eastern Hancock advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Royals travel to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to face the Raiders in a match on Saturday, January 25. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 3-0. Shenandoah won 36-34 in their recent league match against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)

The Golden Bears now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cowan for a match on Friday, February 21.
