California High School Basketball - Pacific Collegiate can't hold off St. Francis
January 24, 2025: Santa Cruz, CA 95060 St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Pacific Collegiate Pumas (Santa Cruz, CA), 49-44 in a league match.
With the victory, St. Francis advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Sharks travel to King City (King City, CA) to face the Mustangs in a match on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-6. King City lost 38-33 in their recent league match against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA)
The Pumas now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a match on Thursday, February 13.
