Texas High School Soccer - Dumas nudges Perryton
January 24, 2025: Dumas, TX 79029 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Dumas Demons (Dumas, TX) and the visiting Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), saw Dumas's soccer squad hold off Perryton by a count of 2-1.
The Demons (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders enter the 4A Region 1 District 3 battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Randall was edged by Borger (Borger, TX), 5-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Rangers battle the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 3 battle, on Tuesday, January 28. Perryton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Hereford (Hereford, TX).
