The Homer Pelicans basketball team scored 100 points and held the host Arcadia Hornets to 5 in the Pelicans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pelicans now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Baptist Academy for a 1A District 1 contest on Friday, January 28. Homer will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 55-48 league win over Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-9.

The Hornets (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Jonesboro-Hodge was routed by North Caddo (Vivian, LA), 67-55, in a league contest.
