The Bloom Blazing Trojan basketball team (Chicago Heights, IL), dropped 64-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL)

The Wildcats now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rich Township for a Southland battle on Friday, January 28. Thornton will battle a Raptors team coming off a 56-43 league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Raptors record now stands at 5-10.

The Blazing Trojan (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds come into the Southland battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Thornwood beat Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 52-46, in a league battle.
