Texas High School Basketball - East Bernard crushes Brazos

East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), 62-26 in a league bout.

With the win, East Bernard upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Brahmas travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to play the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 28. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Van Vleck won 48-42 in their recent league bout against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, January 28. Brazos will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-16 record after their 67-66 league win over Harmony School of Discovery (Houston, TX).
