January 25, 2022: La Joya, TX 78560 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), saw Economedes's basketball squad wallop Juarez-Lincoln by a tally of 85-36.
With the victory, Economedes improves its record to 16-11 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 19-9. Edinburg North won 64-54 in their recent league challenge against La Joya (La Joya, TX)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Juarez-Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a 25-6 record after their 77-43 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX).
