Michigan High School Basketball - Edwardsburg tops Sturgis
January 25, 2022: Edwardsburg, MI 49112 Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 55-42 in a league bout.
With the victory, Edwardsburg upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Eddies travel to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Wolverine B bout on Friday, January 28. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Three Rivers won 48-45 in their recent league bout against Niles (Niles, MI)
Next up, the Trojans play the Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Friday, January 28. Sturgis will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Chieftains come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 70-43 league win over Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI).
