Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) and the visiting Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH), saw Troy's basketball squad hold off Fairborn by a tally of 47-45.

With the victory, Troy improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to confront the Aviators in a Miami Valley - Miami challenge on Friday, January 28. The Aviators come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Butler lost 50-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Sidney (Sidney, OH)

Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH) in a Miami Valley - Valley challenge, on Friday, January 28. Fairborn will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record.
