Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Follett Panthers (Follett, TX) and the visiting McLean Tigers (McLean, TX), saw Follett's basketball squad hold off McLean by a tally of 42-38.

With the victory, Follett improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX) to play the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 28. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Tigers play the Miami Warriors (Miami, TX) in a 1A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. McLean will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 45-28 league loss to Booker (Booker, TX).
