Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Linganore upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Lancers host Catoctin (Thurmont, MD) to play the Cougars in a CMC bout on Thursday, January 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Catoctin lost 52-35 in their recent league bout against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD)

Next up, the play the Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD) in a CMC bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Oakdale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 63-57 league loss to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD).
