Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka knocked off by Rogers
January 25, 2022: Anoka, MN 55303 The Rogers Royals basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Anoka Tornadoes to 51 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Center for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 27. Rogers will battle a Pirates team coming off a 66-42 league loss to Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-10.
The Tornadoes (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars enter the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Centennial ran past Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 55-46, in a league contest.
