January 25, 2022: Le Grand, IA 50142 The East Marshall Mustangs basketball team (Le Grand, IA), was overwhelmed 65-25 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA)
The J-Hawks now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oelwein for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Friday, January 28. Jesup will confront a Huskies team coming off a 76-15 league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-13.
The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Hudson was overwhelmed by Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 62-38, in a league outing.
