January 27, 2022: Le Grand, IA 50142 The East Marshall Mustangs basketball team (Le Grand, IA), was overwhelmed 76-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA)
The Pirates now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dike-New Hartford for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Friday, January 28. Hudson will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 76-15 league win over Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-1.
The Mustangs (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers come into the North Iowa Cedar - West battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, South Hardin was overwhelmed by South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 43-31, in a non-league battle.
