The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons routed the visiting Hudson Pirates basketball team by a final score of 59-29 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 18. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 60-52 non-league win over La Crescent (La Crescent, MN).

With the defeat, Hudson moves to 2-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA) to face the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 4. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 3-5.
