In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) basketball squad edged the host Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), by a margin of 37-35.

The Oilers (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Sea Kings go into the Surf outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Corona del Mar held off Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA), 50-17, in a non-league outing.
