The Monroe Trojans basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Huron River Rats to 50 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Southeastern - Red contest on Friday, January 28. Monroe will battle a Kicking Mules team coming off a 72-40 league win over Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 8-2.

The River Rats (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers enter the Southeastern - Red contest with a 5-4 record.
