The Newton Rams basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting South Gwinnett Comets to 31 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayson for a AAAAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 28. Newton will battle a Rams team coming off a 59-16 league win over Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Rams record now stands at 15-3.
