Illinois High School Basketball - Rock Falls overwhelms Oregon
January 25, 2022: Oregon, IL 61061 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) and the host Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL), saw Rock Falls's basketball squad wallop Oregon by a tally of 60-27.
With the victory, Rock Falls improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Rockets host Lutheran (Rockford, IL) to play the Crusaders in a Big Northern challenge on Friday, January 28. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Lutheran won 45-33 in their recent league challenge against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL)
Next up, the Hawks play the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) in a Big Northern challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Oregon will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Dukes & Duchesses come into the challenge with a 22-4 record after their 47-32 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL).
