New Jersey High School Basketball - Piscataway overwhelmed by St. Thomas Aquinas
January 25, 2022: Edison, NJ 08820 The St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Piscataway Chiefs to 29 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Long Island Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. St. Thomas Aquinas will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-8.
The Chiefs (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Vikings come into the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, South Brunswick triumphed over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ), 72-23, in a league contest.
