North Carolina High School Basketball - West Davidson overwhelmed by Salisbury
January 25, 2022: Lexington, NC 27295 The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host West Davidson Dragons to 9 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference 33 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Salisbury will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 75-21 league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-15.
The Dragons (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats come into the 1A/2A Conference 33 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, South Davidson was routed by Lexington (Lexington, NC), 53-45, in a league contest.
