Kansas High School Basketball - Trinity knocked off by Smoky Valley
January 25, 2022: Hutchinson, KS 67501 The Smoky Valley Vikings basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Trinity Celtics to 20 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay Center for a North Central Kansas contest on Friday, January 28. Smoky Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 53-28 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
The Celtics (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Ell-Saline ran past Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS), 28-26, in a non-league contest.
