In Wednesday's league outing, the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) basketball squad edged the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), by a count of 56-53.

The Bayhawks (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Mt. Baker was tipped by Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 73-37, in a league outing.
