Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 79-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Anacortes upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to play the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Friday, December 9. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the LaConner Braves (LaConner, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 73-44 non-league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).
