The Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) basketball felled the host Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 84-70 in Saturday's league test.

The Seahawks (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Nooksack Valley was beaten by Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA), 68-67, in a league test.

The Borderites now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sehome for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, January 31. Blaine will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 72-50 league win over Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 13-2.
