Florida High School Basketball - Goleman ripped by Varela
January 25, 2023: Miami, FL 33196 The Varela Vipers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Goleman Gators to 44 in the Vipers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vipers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to TERRA Environmental for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Varela will meet a team coming off a 74-60 non-league win over Southwest (Miami, FL). The record now stands at 13-7.
The Gators (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hialeah Gardens (Hialeah Gardens, FL). The Gladiators enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Hialeah Gardens triumphed over Reagan (Doral, FL), 58-48, in a non-league contest.
