Massachusetts High School Basketball - Fontbonne Academy overwhelms New Mission
January 25, 2023: Boston, MA 02120 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fontbonne Academy Ducks (Milton, MA) and the host New Mission Titans (Boston, MA), saw Fontbonne Academy's basketball squad wallop New Mission by a tally of 71-28.
With the victory, Fontbonne Academy improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Ducks host Malden Catholic (Malden, MA) to confront the Lancers in a Freelance challenge on Friday, January 27. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Malden Catholic won 53-47 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame Academy (Hingham, MA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. New Mission will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 53-52 league loss to Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA).
