Alabama High School Basketball - Addison knocked off by Winston County
January 25, 2024: Addison, AL 35540 The Winston County Yellowjackets basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Addison Bulldogs to 54 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meek for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Winston County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 66-62 non-league win over Lynn (Lynn, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
The Bulldogs (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bernard Prep (Cullman, AL). The Saints enter the 1A Area 13 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, St. Bernard Prep was outscored by Falkville (Falkville, AL), 60-20, in a non-league contest.
