Oklahoma High School Basketball - Asher trounces Wayne
January 25, 2024: Asher, OK 74826 The Asher Indians (Asher, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Wayne Bulldogs (Wayne, OK), 64-25 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Indians (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Calvin (Calvin, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Pontotoc test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Calvin was trounced by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, OK), 55-33, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Konawa for a Big 8 test on Friday, January 26. Wayne will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 59-22 non-league loss to Latta (Ada, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
