December 12, 2023: Konawa, OK 74849 The Asher Indians (Asher, OK) basketball felled the host Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK), 48-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Coleman (Coleman, OK). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Coleman was beaten by Wapanucka (Wapanucka, OK), 58-35, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wetumka for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Konawa will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 74-40 league loss to Weleetka (Weleetka, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-4.
