Washington High School Basketball - Port Angeles tops Bainbridge
January 25, 2024: Port Angeles, WA 98362 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA) and the visiting Bainbridge Spartans (Bainbridge Island, WA), saw Port Angeles's basketball squad knock off Bainbridge by a tally of 64-53.
With the victory, Port Angeles improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Roughriders host North Kitsap (Poulsbo, WA) to play the Vikings in a 2A Olympic challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. North Kitsap won 69-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Bremerton Knights (Bremerton, WA) in a 2A Olympic challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Bainbridge will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 84-30 league win over Olympic (Bremerton, WA).
