Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Banks Braves (Banks, OR), 53-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Corbett upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to play the Pirates in a 3A Coastal Range bout on Saturday, January 27. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Neah-Kah-Nie won 62-34 in their recent league bout against Riverdale (Portland, OR)
