January 25, 2024: Piedmont, CA 94611 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) and the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), saw Bishop O'Dowd's basketball squad hold off Piedmont by a count of 51-46.
With the victory, Bishop O'Dowd upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Dragons host Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to play the Trojans in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Castro Valley won 95-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Linden (Linden, CA)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 51-41 league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA).
