Arkansas High School Basketball - Carlisle tops McCrory
January 25, 2024: McCrory, AR 72101 Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR), 55-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Carlisle upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bison host Des Arc (Des Arc, AR) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 6 bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Des Arc lost 69-19 in their recent league bout against Lee (Marianna, AR)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Barton Bears (Lexa, AR) in a 2A Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 26. McCrory will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 47-44 league win over Des Arc (Des Arc, AR).
