The Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL) basketball crushed the host Rocket City Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 56-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lightning (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Wiregrass (Dothan, AL). The Kings go into the Alabama Christian Sports test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Wiregrass walloped Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL), 67-35, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tennessee Heat for a Mid South HomeSchool test on Saturday, January 27. Rocket City will encounter a squad coming off a 53-44 non-league win over University School of Nashville (Nashville, TN). The record now stands at 12-13.
