The Island Coast Gators basketball team (Cape Coral, FL), was overwhelmed 68-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting North Fort Myers Red Knights (North Fort Myers, FL)

The Red Knights now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. North Fort Myers will confront a Panthers team coming off a 48-46 non-league loss to First Baptist Academy (Naples, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-11.

The Gators (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Naples Classical (Naples, FL). The Academy come into the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Naples Classical was overwhelmed by The Village School of Naples (Naples, FL), 64-55, in a non-league battle.
