Massachusetts High School Basketball - Leominster fells South
January 25, 2024: Leominster, MA 01453 Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Colonels (Worcester, MA), 65-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Leominster upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA) to play the Titans in a Midland-Wachusett A bout on Friday, February 2. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 4-8.
Next up, the Colonels play the Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 65-52 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, MA).
