February 7, 2024: Worcester, MA 01603 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the South Colonels (Worcester, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA), by a count of 70-27.
The Colonels (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Bulldogs go into the Colonial outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Montachusett RVT smashed South Lancaster Academy (South Lancaster, MA), 56-40, in a non-league outing.
The Mountaineers now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Algonquin Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A outing on Friday, February 9. Wachusett Regional will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 59-49 league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Titans record now stands at 4-11.
