Ohio High School Basketball - Perkins fells Margaretta
January 25, 2024: Sandusky, OH 44870 Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH), 62-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Perkins upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Pirates host Clyde (Clyde, OH) to play the Fliers in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout on Saturday, January 27. The Fliers go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Clyde lost 75-71 in their recent non-league bout against Willard (Willard, OH)
Next up, the Polar Bears play the South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Margaretta will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 76-59 league loss to Western Reserve (Collins, OH).
