Ohio High School Basketball - Margaretta overwhelms St. Paul
December 14, 2023: Castalia, OH 44824 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH) and the visiting St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH), saw Margaretta's basketball squad wallop St. Paul by a tally of 73-40.
With the victory, Margaretta improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to confront the Redskins in a Sandusky Bay - Bay challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Port Clinton lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH)
Next up, the Flyers confront the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) in a Firelands challenge, on Friday, December 15. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mounties come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 73-56 non-league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH).
