Wisconsin High School Basketball - Monona Grove crushes Watertown
January 25, 2024: Watertown, WI 53098 Monona Grove Silver Eagles (Monona, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Watertown Goslings (Watertown, WI), 73-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Monona Grove upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Silver Eagles host Menomonie (Menomonie, WI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Menomonie lost 55-42 in their recent league bout against Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI)
Next up, the Goslings play the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers (Beaver Dam, WI) in a Badger - Large bout, on Thursday, February 1. Watertown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Golden Beavers go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 67-62 non-league win over West De Pere (De Pere, WI).
