Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Rapids-Rice crushes Rocori
January 25, 2024: Cold Spring, MN 56320 Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN), 87-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sauk Rapids-Rice upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Storm travel to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN) to play the Lumberjacks in a AAAA Section 8 bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Bemidji won 68-65 in their recent non-league bout against Apollo (St. Cloud, MN)
Next up, the Spartans play the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Rocori will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 83-82 non-league loss to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN).
