Michigan High School Basketball - Waldron tops Tekonsha
January 25, 2024: Waldron, MI 49288 Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tekonsha Indians (Tekonsha, MI), 61-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Waldron upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Burr Oak (Burr Oak, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Southern Central bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Burr Oak lost 51-44 in their recent league bout against St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI)
Next up, the Indians play the Camden-Frontier Redskins (Camden, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Monday, January 29. Tekonsha will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Redskins come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 73-28 league loss to Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI).
